Sixty acres, and a barndominium on the far side of it
Jack and Penny have been married thirty four years and have four grown children and ten grandchildren. They live on the property, which means the person you speak to on the phone is the person who will be here on your wedding day.
“Come and enjoy a stay on the range.”
The ranch runs to sixty acres in Burnet County. There is a pond, a gazebo pointed at the sunset, a turf area beside the barn for games, and enough open ground that a wide shot means something.
Jack was born in San Angelo and graduated from Reagan High School in Austin. Penny was born in Oklahoma, grew up in Highlands, and attended Baytown Sterling High School. Jack owned an electrical contracting business for forty five years before retirement. Together, they also own Kinder Haus, a childcare center in Pflugerville, supported by a staff they consider family.
When they are not welcoming guests, Jack and Penny enjoy taking their Spyder Can-Ams along the Hill Country back roads. The ranch house also works well for family reunions and corporate gatherings, and guests may arrange a private chef with advance notice.
